Child Protection VOLUNTEER Checklist
Safe Environment
Safe Environment training is required by the the Diocese of Baton Rouge for adults who have, or will have, ongoing, unsupervised contact with minors in the course of their work or service as an employee, chaperone, or volunteer. The following Child Protection Checklist has been compiled to facilitate the understanding of the requirements of the Diocese of Baton Rouge Office of Youth and Child Protection.
All field trip chaperones and any other employees, volunteers, or coaches operating in a supervisory capacity over children must meet all requirements. All forms must be on file in the St. Joseph School office in order to be considered complete. Please complete, sign and return the Tpso System Application and the LSP Disclosure form ( see forms below) to St. Joseph in order for the school to schedule your background check and fingerprinting.

- Safe and Sacred Online Training Center: https://safeandsacred-diobr.org/login/index.php . First you will register. Then it will guide you through the steps of viewing, taking the quiz, and printing your certificate on the following courses:
- New Training: Serving Vulnerable Populations
