From the Principal

Parents:

Thanks to everyone who participated in any way with the success of the Fair this weekend. The Fair was a wonderful success. Numerous volunteers assured that every booth and every venue was covered. A special thanks to the Fair Chairpersons Lenny George and Lori Kyle for their dedication and hard work. We will have a full accounting of the Fair when all bills are paid and the final results are in, but it looks like that it was a great success from every angle. The success of the Fair is a tribute to you, the parents who work so hard to give the best for your children. I thank you in their behalf.

Now we get back to the business at hand of educating the students. Next week’s schedule includes the Terra Nova Achievement Test. This is an assessment every child takes from second through eighth grade. It will give us a picture of where each student is in his or her studies and a picture of the entire school and how we are doing. I ask that every parent make an extra effort to have the students attend school and that they receive a little TLC in the form of a good breakfast so the picture we receive of the school and the individual student is as accurate and positive as possible.

Therefore, let us celebrate the feast,
not with the old yeast, the yeast of malice and wickedness,
