From the Principal

Dear Parents,

I am pleased to announce that St. Joseph School has been chosen as one of two schools Bishop Muench will visit this spring. His visitation will be on Monday, April 21. He will meet with the faculty, say a Mass for the school, and meet with students throughout the morning. His emphasis during the visit will be Vocation Awareness. Accompanying the Bishop will be a religious sister and a seminarian. The students have been preparing for the visit and have been asked to have questions for him to answer. We are all pleased that St. Joseph was chosen as one of the first two schools to host the visit and everyone is anticipating it with excitement.

It has come to our attention that some students are now showing a lackadaisical attitude toward their personal appearance and uniforms. That is not unheard for this time of year, but it needs to be addressed. The correct uniform shoes must be worn and the hair cuts, especially for the boys, must be in compliance with the guidelines set forth in the handbook. Our attitudes toward these details say much about our attitudes toward our school. I trust that everyone will cooperate with this and no further action should have to be taken.
