Getting Ready

We’re Ready for Bishop Muench!

Elsie LeBlanc (K), Dane Schmitt(1st), Marley Bohning (1st), Abigail Allen (3rd), from left, point out two of the Ten Commandments on display in the lower floor hallway of the main building. Students in all grades have been studying the Ten Commandments with a special focus this year.

Students at St. Joseph are very excited to be honored with a visit from Bishop Muench on Monday, April 21. The focus of the Bishop’s visit will be on vocations.

From the Principal

Dear Parents,

Thank you to all who worked hard this weekend parking cars for the Strawberry Fest. A special thanks to Jeff Schmitt who organized the effort and Crystal Smith who was instrumental in helping him. This is one of the school’s main fundraisers, and we thank each of you who worked so hard to make it a success. Final tallies are not in, but the profit will be in excess of $15,000.00.

I also should thank you for having your children in school last week. We had very few absences for the Terra Nova Tests, and makeup tests were completed on Friday. Thanks to Mrs. Jeri Carroll for distributing, collecting, packing the material, and giving the make up tests.

As we approach the end of the school year, we ask that you encourage your children to continue to work hard. Make sure they attend school, complete their homework, and study for tests. The temptation is to let up on school work as the year winds down.

The weather was perfect, and the money raised would not have been accomplished without the teamwork from all of you. As you know, this is a huge fund raiser for St. Joseph, and we look forward to making it even better next year. St. Joseph School appreciates your time!
