From the Principal
Dear Parents,I know all of you have received the request for donations to the Annual Development Drive. I ask that you read the letter and enclosed flyer with attention.
Tomorrow, October 9, and Monday, October 13, parents are invited to meet with Advisory Council members to discuss the needs of the school and offer their suggestions as to the improvements to plant and curriculum that they think most vital.
In the meetings that were held two years ago in preparation for the Jumpstart Campaign, valuable suggestions were made and many were addressed with the funds collected.
The ADD meetings for this year will be held in library and all parents are invited to participate.
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee winners! Our school was represented in the Tangipahoa Parish Fair Spelling Bee by Eva Loney (3rd grade), Katelyn McKneely (5th grade), and Emily Buddy (7th grade).
All three girls represented the school well with Katelyn placing fourth and Emily taking third. We are very proud of these students and their accomplishments.
—Dr. Gerard Toups
