From the Principal

Dear Parents,

May each of you have a Holy and Happy Easter as we celebrate Christ’s Resurrection. The times for the Holy Week services for Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday are listed in today’s newsletter.

Thanks to all who did so much work for the parking concession for the Strawberry Fest. I understand from George we cleared about $16,000.00. Special thanks to Jeffrey Schmitt for his leadership and again thanks for all who helped.

—Dr. Gerard Toups

500 Point Club

Emily Ransom

Students at St. Joseph are enthusiastically involved with their reading!

The library supports the Accelerated Reader program where students set goals and earn points for reading books.

The school has 100, 250, and 500 Point Clubs for those students achieving the appropriate level of points.

So far, three students have attained the 500 Point Club. Emily Ransom in Fourth Grade reached the goal first followed quickly by her brother Taylor Ransom in Eighth Grade and Emily Buddy in Seventh.

Several other students will be quickly joining their ranks. Their names will be published as the goals are reached.
