Psalm 19
R - The precepts of the Lord give joy to the heart.The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul;
the decree of the Lord is trustworthy,
giving wisdom to the simple. R
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever;
the ordinances of the Lord are true,
all of them just. R
Though your servant is careful of them,
very diligent in keeping them,
yet who can detect failings?
Cleanse me from my unknown faults! R
From wanton sin especially, restrain your servant;
let it not rule over me.
Then shall I be blameless and innocent
of serious sin. R
From the Principal

September Crusaders
Chloe Ernst, Kirsten Jackson, Camryn ErnstChloe and Camrym are in second grade. Kirsten is a seventh grade student. Their awards were announced at the school Mass on Friday, September 25.
Each month from September through April, St. Joseph School names a Crusader and a Mini Crusader of the Month. Students are nominated by faculty, other students, and the community. A selection committee reviews the nominations and names Crusaders for that month.
Crusaders of the Month are students who explemplify by their words and deeds what it means to be true Crusaders. They display a love of God and a devotion to His work. They show obvious concern for peers, family, and friends and participate in school life with zeal and enthusiasm. They stand up for causes or situation when they know it is right. They are leaders, not followers. The Crusaders show hnesty and integrity, rspect for authority, and a willingness to give service to others.
Students chosen as Cruaders of the Month are honored with the announcement at an all-school Mass. They are given a certificate, a gift basket, and a Crusader t-shirt. Their picture is taken and made into a poster which hangs in the school office. They are honored with their picture on the school website and in The Crusader Connection. At the end of the school year, all Crusaders of the Month are taken out to lunch by the Principal and the Religion Coordinator.
Fall Fest T-shirts
Students who ordered Fall Fest T-shirts will be able to wear them every Friday in October, including the Friday after the event.We're looking forward to seeing all our students supporting the school with Fall Fest T-shirts on October Fridays!

Prayer for Priests
The Year for Priests 2009-2010Dear Lord,
We pray that the Blessed Mother wrap her mantle around Your priests and through her intercession strengthen them for their ministry.
We pray that Mary will guide Your priests to follow her own words,
"Do whatever He tells you." (Jn 2:5)
May Your priests have the heart of St. Joseph, Mary's most chaste spouse.
May the Blessed Mother's own pierced heart inspire them to embrace all who suffer at the foot of the cross.
May Your priests be holy, filled with the fire of Your love, seeking nothing but Your greater glory and the salvation of souls.
Amen
