Psalm 24
R - Lord, this is the people that longs to see Your face.The Lord's are the earth and its fullness;
the world and those who dwell in it.
For He founded it upon the seas
and established it upon the rivers. R
Who can ascend the mountain of the Lord?
or who may stand in His holy place?
One whose hands are sinless, whose heart is clean,
who desires not what is vain. R
He shall receive a blessing from the Lord,
a reward from God his Savior.
Such is the race that seeks Him,
that seeks the face of the God of Jacob. R

Dear Parents:
Last Friday the school celebrated All Saints Day. The Sixth Graders dressed up for the day and processed into the church as their names were called. Pictures are on the school website for those who could not be there. We did have a number of parents and friends present.
The Preschool attended church with the school for the first time on Friday. We thank those parents who came to accompany our youngest students to their first Mass. All were remarkably well behaved.
Congratulations to the following seventh grade girls who qualified to take the ACT as part of the Duke University Talent Identification Program.

Prayer for Priests
The Year for Priests 2009-2010Dear Lord,
We pray that the Blessed Mother wrap her mantle around Your priests and through her intercession strengthen them for their ministry.
We pray that Mary will guide Your priests to follow her own words,
"Do whatever He tells you." (Jn 2:5)
May Your priests have the heart of St. Joseph, Mary's most chaste spouse.
May the Blessed Mother's own pierced heart inspire them to embrace all who suffer at the foot of the cross.
May Your priests be holy, filled with the fire of Your love, seeking nothing but Your greater glory and the salvation of souls.
Amen
St. John Vianney, pray for us.
