Psalm 72
R - Lord, every nation on earth will adore You.O God, with Your judgment endow the king,
and with Your justice, the king's son;
he shall govern Your people with justice
and Your afflicted ones with judgment. R
Justice shall flower in his days,
and profound peace, till the moon be no more.
May he rule from sea to sea,
and from the River to the ends of the earth. R
The kings of Tarshish and the Isles shall offer gifts;
the kings of Arabia and Seba shall bring tribute.
All kings shall pay him homage,
all nations shall serve him. R
for he shall rescue the poor when he cries out,
and the afflicted when he has no one to help him.
He shall have pit for the lowly and the poor;
the lives of the poor he shall save. R

Elle Gaasch and Landon Davis are busy getting back into their First Grades studies at the start of the second semester.Dear Parents,
As we enter the New Year, we begin preparing for the next school year. One of the most important days of the school year is the Open House for Prospective Parents. It is our intention to give prospective parents a good introduction to the school including faculty, facilities, and program.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and enthusiastic support of the school. The Open House for new parents will be February 22, the Monday after Mardi Gras. Hours for visitation for new parents will be from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If interested parents call the school, Ms. Toni will forward a package to them with information on the school including a brief history, an overview of the curriculum, along with information on the religious aspect of the school. Tuition, fees, and procedures for registration for the coming school year will be made available at Open House.
A form is going home today, and if you are aware of parents who have children entering school for the first time, parents who have older children but who are in some manner of other unhappy with the education their children are receiving, or any family with preschoolers or elementary age students moving into the area, please provide us with their name and address and we will forward an Open House Package to them. We will not divulge who forwarded the names and addresses of prospective parents to us.

Prayer for Priests
The Year for Priests 2009-2010Dear Lord,
We pray that the Blessed Mother wrap her mantle around Your priests and through her intercession strengthen them for their ministry.
We pray that Mary will guide Your priests to follow her own words,
"Do whatever He tells you." (Jn 2:5)
May Your priests have the heart of St. Joseph, Mary's most chaste spouse.
May the Blessed Mother's own pierced heart inspire them to embrace all who suffer at the foot of the cross.
May Your priests be holy, filled with the fire of Your love, seeking nothing but Your greater glory and the salvation of souls.
Amen
St. John Vianney, pray for us.
