Psalm 51

R. (Lk 15:18) I will rise and go to my father.

Have mercy on me, O God, in your goodness;
in the greatness of your compassion wipe out my offense.
Thoroughly wash me from my guilt
and of my sin cleanse me.

R. I will rise and go to my father.

A clean heart create for me, O God,
and a steadfast spirit renew within me.
Cast me not out from your presence,
and your Holy Spirit take not from me.

R. I will rise and go to my father.

O Lord, open my lips,
and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.
My sacrifice, O God, is a contrite spirit;
a heart contrite and humbled, O God, you will not spurn.

R. I will rise and go to my father.

From the Principal

Dear Parents,

In introducing you to the new staff over the past three weeks, I left out one very important individual. Fr. Victor Celio O.P. is the new Parochial Vicar. He is replacing Father Ramon Gonzales O. P. who has moved on to a teaching assignment in San Antonio. Fr. Victor is an interesting individual. He is originally from Delaware. He is a registered nurse and worked for many years as a pediatric trauma nurse. Father has given many missions throughout the southern states and South America. He is fluent in Spanish and Italian. Father will say Mass for the students, hear their confessions and assist Father John in any way he can. We welcome Father Victor to St. Joseph and as always look forward to working with him as we continue to prepare the children in their faith.
