Psalm 145:10-13,17-18

10 All thy works shall give thanks to thee, O LORD, and all thy saints shall bless thee!

11 They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and tell of thy power,

12 to make known to the sons of men thy mighty deeds, and the glorious splendor of thy kingdom.

13 Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds.

17 The LORD is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings.

18 The LORD is near to all who call upon him, to all who call upon him in truth.

From the Principal

Dear Parents,

Students and faculty have approached me to have a fund raiser for Tripp Roth. I am sure all of you know the situation with the little boy. Mrs. Little and I spoke and agreed to that next Wednesday August 31, students may bring a donation and wear a red shirt or socks, blue jeans and uniform shoes, indicating their support of Tripp and his family. We ask that students bring a donation of at least $1.00. We will forward the donations to the fund set up in his name.

If you're not aware of Tripp, you can visit his website by clicking HERE.

Today is the kickoff for the Magazine sale. If you are subscribing to magazines, we ask that you renew through the school. Please speak to grandparents who might wish to help with this drive. This is a big fundraiser for the school. We appreciate your support.

Magazine Sale Starts Today!

Today kicks off our annual Magazine Drive!

This is a great fundraiser for the school. Last year's total was our absolute best ever!

Parents can help the school reach this year's goal by renewing an existing subscrition, ordering a new title, and/or giving the gift of reading to a friend or relative.

The school receives 40% of each order.

The sale begins today and runs through Wednesday, September 7.  The school goal is $30,000. The student goal is seven order per student.

Collection days are as follows:
Thursday, August 25: postcard booklets
Tuesday, August 30: first turn-in day
Friday, September 2: second turn-in day
Wednesday, September 7: last turn-in day.

There are many prizes and various ways to contact people about our magazine sale. All the details are in the packets sent home with each student today. Please read to see how the school can meet its goal this year.

Thank you so much for your help with this most important fund raiser.

Tripp Roth Day

Students and faculty at St. Joseph School will have a fundraiser for Tripp Roth on Wednesday August 31. Students may bring a donation and wear a red shirt or socks or some other red item (with their blue jeans and uniform shoes) indicating their support of Tripp and his family. We ask that students bring a donation of at least $1.00. We will forward the donations to the fund set up in his name.

If you're not aware of Tripp, you can visit his website by clicking HERE.

Here's what Tripp's mom, Courtney (SJS alum Class of 2000), says on her website:

"Tripp was born on May 14, 2009. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic skin disease called "EB." Any type of friction on his skin or mucous membranes causes blisters. They told us he would not live to be a year old. Every day he amazes us by his strength. He is a fighter and with all he has been through, he has never given up. He is the strongest person I know. Tripp wakes up each morning with a smile on his face. Every day spent with him is a blessing. God has a special plan for him. I'm just blessed to be able to witness that plan."
