Psalm 89

R. For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord.

The favors of the LORD I will sing forever;
through all generations my mouth shall proclaim your faithfulness.
For you have said, "My kindness is established forever";
in heaven you have confirmed your faithfulness.

R. For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord.

The heavens proclaim your wonders, O LORD,
and your faithfulness, in the assembly of the holy ones.
For who in the skies can rank with the LORD?
Who is like the LORD among the sons of God?

R. For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord.

Blessed the people who know the joyful shout;
in the light of your countenance, O LORD, they walk.
At your name they rejoice all the day,
and through your justice they are exalted.

R. For ever I will sing the goodness of the Lord.

Athletic Awards

The annual Athletic Awards given by St. Joseph School will be held in the gym on Tuesday, May 1, at 6:00.

Congratulations to all of our wonderful athletes!

Field Tripping

Many rumors and misconceptions regarding field trips this year have been circulating among parents.

Field trips were cancelled by our diocesan insurance company due to contract wording regarding coverage between certain entities.

There was nothing St. Joseph School could have done to hurry along negotiations among these various parties.

Finally, after many conversations throughout the year with the insurance company, we're very glad to announce that a favoriable resolution has recently been reached. Field trips will resume next year as normal.

Home and School Meeting

The last meeting of the St. Joseph School Home and School Association will be held on Thursday, April 26, at 6:30 p.m. in the gym.

Results from the recent election of officers for the next school year will be announced.

There will also be a drawing for $100 among those present. The perfect attendance drawing will also be held.

All are invited and encouraged to attend.

Math-a-Thon

Congratulations to the students who have earned Math-a-Thon t-shirts. The shirts will be distributed next Wednesday, May 2. Students wear their t-shirts with spirit dress on Friday, May 4.

Squid, Anyone?

Emily Ransom and Adam Coffey are studying the finer points of dissecting squid as part of their seventh grade science class.
