Psalm 105

R. Rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lorrd.

Give thanks to the LORD, invoke his name;
make known among the nations his deeds.
Sing to him, sing his praise,
proclaim all his wondrous deeds.

R. Rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord.

Glory in his holy name;
rejoice, O hearts that seek the LORD!
Look to the LORD in his strength;
seek to serve him constantly.

R. Rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord.

You descendants of Abraham, his servants,
sons of Jacob, his chosen ones!
He, the LORD, is our God;
throughout the earth his judgments prevail.

R. Rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord.

He remembers forever his covenant
which he made binding for a thousand generationsB
Which he entered into with Abraham
and by his oath to Isaac.

R. Rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord.

Spring Pictures - Thursday, April 4

Spring Picture order forms were sent home before spring break.

These pictures will be taken on Thursday, April 4.

However, all students may wear "spring dress" that day whether they are ordering pictures or not. Order forms must be turned in by Wednesday, April 3. NO LATE ORDERS CAN BE ACCEPTED.  There will not be retakes available for these pictures.

This is a "dress-up" day. Guidelines for out-of-uniform days can be found on the school website at DRESS CODE. Follow the guidelines for birthday dress.

Advisory Council Ballots - due Monday, April 8

It is time once again to elect new members for the St. Joseph School Advisory Council.

New members must meet the following requirements:
• Be the parent/guardian of a student at St. Joseph School. Because this is a three-year commitment, at least one of these students must be currently in Grade 5 or younger.
• Be a practicing Catholic.
• Be available for monthly meetings for a three year commitment.

Ballots for Advisory Council are located at Instructions for voting are also located on Edline. Please visit the site and cast your vote for Advisory Council members. The site will be open until the end of the day on Monday, April 8.

Papa John's Pizza Night - Tuesday, April 9

Tuesday, April 9, is Papa John's/SJS Night!

Order pizza from Papa John's that evening, mention the school, and a percentage of your order goes to the school! How easy!

The class with the highest percentage of orders gets a pizza party. Just be sure to mention your teacher's name when ordering.

April Birthdays - Wednesday, April 10

All students at St. Joseph who have a birthday in April may come out of uniform on Wednesday, April 10. This is the only day students with April birthdays may come out of uniform. There is no make-up day. Out of uniform guidelines can be found on the WEBSITE.

Strawberry Festival Parking Volunteers Needed!

We're looking for a few good volunteers!

Strawberry Festival Parking will be Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14. This is a huge fundraiser for the school, but its success is tied to the amount of manpower we have to work it.

No special skills are required. We have on-the-job training. You get to help the school, meets lots of other nice parents, and work on your tan all at the same time.

The sign-up sheet in on EDLINE. Signing up for more than one shift is encouraged if you can possibly give us the time.

All volunteers are greatly appreciated.
