Psalm 112
R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need.Blessed the man who fears the LORD,
who greatly delights in his commands.
His posterity shall be mighty upon the earth;
the upright generation shall be blessed.
R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need.
He dawns through the darkness, a light for the upright;
he is gracious and merciful and just.
Well for the man who is gracious and lends,
who conducts his affairs with justice.
R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need.
Lavishly he gives to the poor;
his generosity shall endure forever;
his horn shall be exalted in glory.
R. Blessed the man who is gracious and lends to those in need.

Grandparents' Day - Friday, November 15
On Friday, November 15, grandparents of students at St. Joseph are invited to visit campus.
This event is open to all students in the school. If grandparents are unavailable for any reason, students are welcome to invite a Special Visitor (aunt, uncle, parent, godparent, special family friend, etc.) as a substitute.
It is not required that every student have a grandparent, special visitor at school that day.
If your student does have a grandparent/special visitor that day, the following procedure should be followed:
1. Grandparents/Special Visitors meet in church at 1:00. Guidelines for the day and handouts will be provided.
2. Grandparents/Special Visitors go to the classroom to pick up student(s) for the SJS visit.
3. ONE designated person (with photo ID) is to check out the student from the homeroom teacher. They are, at that point responsible, for the student.
4. The student and grandparent/special visitor may take part in the pictures, refreshments, book fair, school tour, etc.
5. The one designated person who checked out the student may either dismiss from school with that student or check them back in with the teacher for regular dismissal.
6. No student will be checked out to a person who has not been designated by the parent on the form sent home.
Grandparents' Day picture order forms were sent home today, Wednesday, November 6. If you would like for your child to take a picture with his/her grandparents, plese send payment with the order form with your child on Grandparents' Day to give to the photographer. These forms/money will NOT be collected by the teachers. Each student/grandparent will be responsible to give the photographer the order. This simple step will make the picture line go much faster. Thank you for your help.
