Psalm 23

R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
In verdant pastures he gives me repose;
Beside restful waters he leads me;
he refreshes my soul.

R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.

He guides me in right paths
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk in the dark valley
I fear no evil; for you are at my side
With your rod and your staff
that give me courage.

R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.

You spread the table before me
in the sight of my foes;
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.

Only goodness and kindness follow me
all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD
for years to come.

R. The Lord is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.

Tuesday, December 30, 2014
New Orleans Pelicans vs. Phoenix Suns @ 7:00pm

Come experience a New Orleans Pelicans game with our St. Joseph School Group.

*Halftime Fan Tunnel: 20 people from our group will be allowed to go on the court to form a fan tunnel and high-five the Pelicans players. We will pull 20 tickets from our group. This drawing will be done at school the week of December 15th. The 20 tickets drawn will be the able to participate in the fan tunnel.

*Our entire group will be allowed on the floor after the game to take a group photo on the court with some of the Pelicans dancers. They send the group picture to the school.

*Our group name will be posted on the Jumbotron at halftime.

Our Saints Were Marching In

Our annual Litany of Saints was last Wednesday morning at Mass. The 6th graders looked great dressed up as their favorite saint and they had a wonderful time telling the other classes about their saints.
In the picture, Gage Carroll poses as a St. Joseph look-alike.

To see all of our 6th grade saints, please visit SAINTS.

Fourth Grade Nature Lovers

Fourth grade students learn all about nature from park rangers last week during their trip to LaCombe Wildlife Preserve.

More pictures from their trip can be seen at FOURTH GRADE.

8th Grade Visits WWII Museum

Catherine Dahmer is pictured thanking a WWII Marine for his service during the eighth grade visit to the National World War II Museum in New Orleans last Friday.

To see more pictures of the trip, please visit WWII MUSEUM.

Enjoying Oak Alley

The sixth graders were blessed with glorious weather Monday as they visited Oak Alley Plantation in Vacherie.

Please visit OAK ALLEY to see all of our sixth graders enjoying the grounds and mansion.

Honoring Veterans

Our fifth grade students led the White Table Ceremony as we honored veterans Tuesday morning.

We welcomed several veteran and active duty relatives and friends of our students and faculty and asked them to participate in a small tribute of thanks to them for their service.
