Psalm 150

R. Holy, holy, holy Lord, mighty God!

Praise the LORD in his sanctuary,
praise him in the firmament of his strength.
Praise him for his mighty deeds,
praise him for his sovereign majesty.

R. Holy, holy, holy Lord, mighty God!

Praise him with the blast of the trumpet,
praise him with lyre and harp,
Praise him with timbrel and dance,
praise him with strings and pipe.

R. Holy, holy, holy Lord, mighty God!

Praise him with sounding cymbals,
praise him with clanging cymbals.
Let everything that has breath
praise the LORD! Alleluia.

R. Holy, holy, holy Lord, mighty God!

Grandparents Day

Debbie Gomez gives grandson Cade Montalbano a quick kiss as they go off to enjoy Grandparents Day at SJS!

Well over 500 grandparents from places far and near joined their grandchildren last Friday morning as part of the annual SJS Grandparents Day. Each grandparent was presented with a "goodie" bag from St. Joseph. They enjoyed refreshments in the gym followed by a short prayer service and a performance by the cheerleaders.

Grandchildren were able to join grandparents for tours, pictures, and book fair gift certificates. Events in the evening included Family book Fair Night and FAMILY MOVIE NIGHT.

To see more pictures of grandparents with their grandchildren, please visit GRANDPARENTS.

Thanksgiving Buddies

Alayna Chelette (left) and Molly Owens pause for a moment for a picture as they role-play the parts of Indian and Pilgrim in our traditional Indian/Pilgrim Buddy Day at St. Joseph.

Eighth grade students and their kindergarten buddies dressed like Pilgrims and Indians and attended Mass together in costume Wednesday morning to commemorate the original celebration.

After Mass, the two grades gave thanks and enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast together in the cafeteria.

To see all of our Pilgrims and Indians, please visit THANKSGIVING.
