Psalm 31
R. Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.You will free me from the snare they set for me,
for you are my refuge.
Into your hands I commend my spirit;
you will redeem me, O LORD, O faithful God.
R. Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
I hear the whispers of the crowd, that frighten me from every side,
as they consult together against me, plotting to take my life.
R. Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.
But my trust is in you, O LORD;
I say, “You are my God.”
In your hands is my destiny; rescue me
from the clutches of my enemies and my persecutors.
R. Save me, O Lord, in your kindness.

Pictured above is Mrs. Kimberly Thibodeaux.Dear Parents -
I am very pleased to announce that the recipient of the Mother Seton Award this year is Kimberly Thibodeaux.
Mrs. Thibodeaux is our Home & School President. She works very hard to help our students and parents to create many wonderful memories as a part of the St. Joseph school family. Just a few of the events she has been involved with this year are Fall Fest, Mother/Son tailgate party, and Grandparents’ Day. Outside of school, she helps with her sons’ sports teams, assists with VBS at St. Joseph, and she is on the board for The Louisiana Early Childhood Association (LAECA) which is a non-profit early childhood organization for teachers, parents, caregivers and early care professionals dedicated to improving the lives of Louisiana's children from birth to eight years of age.
Congratulations to Mrs. Thibodeaux and thank you so much for your support and dedication to St. Joseph. We are very blessed to have you.

Rice Bowls
“Lent is a fitting time for self-denial; we would do well to ask ourselves what we can give up in order to help and enrich others by our own poverty.” – Pope FrancisDear families,
This Lent our school is participating in CRS Rice Bowl, a faith-in-action program that helps families experience Lenten spirituality by living in solidarity with people in need around the world. Here are three simple ways to bring Lent to life in your home.
• Place your CRS Rice Bowl in a prominent place in your home and use it to collect your Lenten sacrifices.
• Read the Lenten calendar reflections each day as a family.
• Visit RICE BOWLS to find videos and family activities, or take Lent outside of the bowl and download the CRS Rice Bowl app on your mobile device.
Rice Bowls were sent home with students on Wednesday, February 25.
We will be collecting Rice Bowls at the end of Lent, so stay tuned to learn more. Thank you for using CRS Rice Bowl with your family this Lent.
