Crusader Dads

The St Joseph Crusader Dads are hosting are a Golf Scramble on Thursday September 17th for 1:00 at Carter Plantation. Lunch will be served at noon. The cost is $100 per person. Fall Fest T-Shirts

Its time to order Fall Fest tshirts! The cost for a tshirt is $13 and all orders must be turned into the office by Wednesday September 16th. Remember, all tshirts have to be pre-ordered and all orders are final. A picture of the front and back of the tshirts are below as well as the order form for the tshirt.

Birthday Free Dress Guidelines

DRESS CODE FOR BIRTHDAY FREE DRESS

All clothes must be modest and reflective of the values expected at St. Joseph Catholic School. Students must be able to perform all regular school activties, including P.E., without changing or removing any parts shoes or clothing. Shorts (if weather permits) must be long enough to reach the knee. Blue jeans are allowed if the jeans are in good condition. Jeans must be free of holes. Jeans must not be too tight. Dress, skirts are to be long enough to reach the knee. All shirts, blouses, etc, must have sleeves. Writing or symbols on shirts must be appropriate for school. Shoes must have a back or closed heel. Crocs and high heels are not allowed.

4H Club

Any student in grades 5th-8th interested in joining 4H this school year must fill out a form and return it to the office. Mrs Tallo will be heading the 4H club this year. If you have any questions or concerns you can email her at jtallo@sjscrusaders.org. Below is the form for anyone who is interested.

Looking Ahead

IMPORTANT:

There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday September 4th due to a Teacher Professional Day and NO SCHOOL on Monday September 7th because of Labor Day. We hope everyone enjoys the extended weekend!

September birthdays get to have a free dress day on Tuesday September 8th to celebrate their birthday month. Please see the section of the newsletter for the dress code.

The mid-quarter of the nine weeks is fast approaching. Parents, please keep checking Renweb for your child's grades. September 9th is the mid-quarter mark.

Crusader Dads will host a Golf Tournament on Thursday September 17th for 1:00 at Carter Plantation.

The Drama Club will hold auditions for their annual school play on Thursday September 24th for students in grades 6-8th. Good luck to all who audition!

On Tuesday October 6th at 5:30 St Vincent DePauls will hold a dinner/silent auction at Cafe Nola. Tickets are available now through a St Vincent DePaul member. See Flyer below if you are interested.

Let all grandparents know, Grandparents Day will be held Friday October 9th!
