Drama Club
The Drama Club is gearing up for their production of Beauty & the Beast on Friday May 6th and Saturday May 7th. We are offering a ticket presale. The presale ticket is $5 for an adult and $3 for a student. You may purchase tickets at the door the night of the play but the price will go up. If you would like to purchase an early ticket, please print the form below and return it to the office. Make checks payable to St Joseph School.

The St Joseph Cheerleaders will host their annual MINI CHEER CLINIC on Saturday May 14th for any St Joseph student in grades Prek thru 4th grade. The cost is $35 a mini cheerleader. Anyone wishing to sign up must return the paperwork to the office by Tuesday May 3rd. Each mini cheerleader will receive a certificate, ribbon and tshirt as well as participate in a performance at the end of the clinic

Report cards will be mailed to parents at the end of the school year. So, parents please go to WebForms on your parent RenWeb account and be sure to check your personal information. Please review and make any changes necessary to ensure that your child's report card will be mailed to the correct address.

It is now time for parents to make refund request for any student not returning or transferring to another school in the Baton Rouge Diocese, such as St. Thomas Aquinas High School (Example).
Parents can call or e-mail for a form and one will be mailed to you to complete. The formed must be returned to me for completion before submitting to Baton Rouge. Thanks again for all your help.

Already dreading the thought of buying school supplies for next year? Let us do the shopping for you! The St Joseph Home and School Association is excited to introduce a new Pre-pack School Supply Program and fundraiser for the 2016-2017 school year. With a click of your mouse, you can get a head start on everything your student will need!
The started packs include quality, name brand school supplies specific to your child's grade. Please visit the website, www.prepacksupplies1.com to place your order online or fill out the form attached and return it to school with your payment. The packs will be delivered to your child's classroom.

Advisory Council elections begin today. We have five nominees and four positions to fill. The ballot is listed under the survey tab in RenWeb. Our Advisory Council is a very important group who represents the voice of our SJS families and advises our administration on ideas to grow and improve our school. Please take a minute to cast your vote! The election will close on May 13th.
VOLLEYB ALL TRYOUTS
The sign-up sheet for volleyball try-outs is posted outside of Mrs. Thomas’ classroom. Try-outs will be held on May 12th from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Girls in 4th through 7th grade (2016-2017) are eligible. 5th and 6th grade girls will compete in the Junior Varsity division. 7th and 8th grade girls will compete in the Varsity division.
REMINDER
Students who have a June Birthday can wear Free Dress on Tuesday May 10th. Be sure to check out the dress code guidelines.
