Circles of Care-Parents
It is required each year that the schools and churches of the Diocese offer parents information pertaining to creating safe environments for children. The Diocese provides these flyers for parents to review. The information on the flyer is set by the Office of Child and Youth Protection and changes each year.
Please click the link below to review the 2016/2017 Parent flyers that are listed under “Family Nights” (Justice Hope Fortitude Prudence Temperance)

Circles of Care-Students
It is required by the Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People that all children enrolled in Catholic Schools and Parishes receive Safe Environment training. The Diocese of Baton Rouges provides such training called Circles of Care. This lesson will be taught to our students on Thursday, October 13, 2016.
Parents may review their child’s lesson plan that will be taught in the classroom prior to this date by going to the following link:

At this point you will then click on the lesson pertaining to your child’s grade level listed under Circles of Care.

Grandparent's Day
What a BEAUTIFUL day was shared as hundreds of grandparents and children enjoyed St. Joseph School's Grandparents Day event. God blessed us with beautiful weather and many were able to picnic on the grounds around campus. Lots of food, fun, and family memories were shared by so many who attended. THANKS to everyone who had a part in making the day a success.
Grandparent pictures taken will be sent home next week in your child's Wednesday packet.
A special THANKS to our SJS Crusader Dads Club, SJS Room moms and helpers, SJS teachers and staff, Ponchatoula Fire Dept, Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Bohnings, Rouses, Walmart, and Matherne's (Laplace), and our photographers for the day (Keri Dapprich, Abby Ragusa, Monee Sheridan, and Sheree Wells).
