A note from Mrs. Ragusa


As usual, the school year is flying by! We have completed the first quarter with great success. Honor Roll and Perfect Attendance certificates were sent home today as well as report cards.Perfect Attendance certificates were given to students who had no absences and no tardies in the first quarter. We will give certificates to students each quarter for perfect attendance. If you believe there is an error, please check your child's attendance on RenWeb for dates of absences and tardies. Please remember tardies are given if the student is not in line when the bell rings at 7:35 a.m. when we stand for prayer.
Congratulations to all of our students for your hard work in Quarter 1!

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week 2016- 2017

MONDAY

“Red”-y to be drug free. Everyone can wear red shirts with school appropriate jeans and students will receive their red ribbon for the week as well as sign the DRUG FREE pledge.

TUESDAY

“Sock it to drugs” – Students can wear crazy socks

WEDNESDAY

Be a “Smartie” and Team Up Against Drugs - Wear favorite team shirt or wear any St. Joseph shirt with school appropriate jeans. Pep Rally and Teacher vs.8th Grade volleyball game in gym.

THURSDAY

I love my drug free “self-ie” – Have a drug free poster background and take pictures at recess with friends.

FRIDAY

Don’t Fall for Drugs – Fall Fest Shirts with school appropriate jeans and FALL FEST.

Principal for a Day

On Tuesday, October 25th, Mrs. Ragusa will put her feet up and relax! Taylor Karr will be principal for the day!!! Here is a message from Ms. Karr.


Dear Students,

On Tuesday, we will celebrate Red Ribbon Week by wearing crazy socks to "Sock it to Drugs!". I have decided that the class with the most students wearing crazy socks will get a popsicle party! Good luck!

SJS Fundraiser

Reservation forms and money are due this Friday, October 21st, for our first annual Dinner, Dance, & Auction event. It is extremely important that we have this information by Friday.The count on Friday will determine if we have enough participation to move forward with this event.

Fall Fest Information


The annual SJS Fall Fest will be held Friday, October 28th. Students will have a full day of school and we will have After School Care. Please see the attached flyer for details.
