Fair Meeting
OPEN TO ALL PARENTS
Our next fair meeting will be held on Tuesday January 24th at 6:00 pm. This meeting is open to ANYONE interested in helping out and getting involved. We look forward to seeing you at the meeting!
Pink and Blue Day
On January 20th students can wear pink or blue shirts for a $1 with school approved jeans. All money donated will go towards baby items for Catholic Charities as part of Catholic Schools Week.
Mother Son Tailgate Party
When: Sunday, January 22, 2017
Time: 12:30 – 2:30 pm
Where: St. Joseph School
Cost: $20.00 (one fee for all attending)
Deadline: please return bottom portion by January 19, 2017

Re-Registration
Re-Registration forms were sent home today, Wednesday, January 18th with your child's Wednesday packet. Please be on the look out for this important paperwork. Attached below are directions for a new way to make payments using your credit/debit cards. If you are interested in this option, please see the attached flyer for details and steps to help you with this process.
National Geography Bee
Any students in the 4th through 8th grade interested in participating in the National Geography Bee can see Mrs Dufreche for a form to fill out. The Bee will be held Wednesday, January 25th after school.
Mini Cheer Clinic
Our SJS Cheerleaders will be hosting their annual mini cheer clinic for all of our younger SJS students in prek - 4th grade on Saturday, February 18th. If you are interested please print and return the flyer below.
VALENTINE'S DAY
The St. Joseph School Cheerleaders will begin the 2017 Valentine’s Day fundraiser on January 25, 2017.
This year, we are selling Valentine’s Day roses. Each rose will cost $1. Below is the form to be printed and returned to school.
Sock Hop
Our students in 5th through 8th grade will be able to attend our annual sock hop from 7:00 to 10:00 on Friday, January 27th. The cost to enter is $10 and pictures will be available for a small price as well. We hope everyone will be there for the Winter Wonderland!
4H
The next 4H meeting will be on Tuesday, February 21st in the art room. The "Master Gardners" will be our guest presenters at this meeting.
The next cookery will be held locally on January 24th at the Ponchatoula Lions Club at 6:00 pm. This isthe "Egg Poulty & Bento Box" Cookery. Make sure to follow all guidelines for your entry.
All 4H members record folders are due on March 21st. The portfolio and the workbook must be completed to be able to attend the 4H Fest on April 12th.
