On Friday, May 5th, SJS will be closed due to the Spring Fair. Parents will be setting up all day to prepare for the opening of the fair at 5:00 pm.
Coffee with the Counselor
If you are interested in attending coffee with the counselor, please RSVP as soon as possible. It will be held May 4th for the 5th - 8th grade parents. See attached flyer for more details.
Spring Fair
Last Call to sign up for a work shift at the Spring Fair. Please sign up for a work shift at the fair. Students may wear free shoes everyday next week if their family works during the fair.
Not Allowed
Fidget toys are not allowed at school. These items will be taken from students if they are playing with them during class.
Silent Auction
The Silent Auction Committee is seeking local businesses interested in donating to our auction. Donating an item or a service is great advertisement for local businesses and the logo or company name will be displayed for thousands of local shoppers to see. If you or someone you know owns a local business and would consider donating please contact Brigette Hyde at 985-969-1744 or Lynsie Daigle at 985-215-7958.
Holey Board
This year at the Spring Fair we will hold a Children's Holey Board Tournament as well as an Adult Tournament. To register, print and return the forms below.
Sweet Booth
Donations are need for our sweet booth to be a success. Please send your donations for the booth by tomorrow or drop it off during the fair.
June Birthdays
Any student who has a birthday in June can celebrate by having a free dress day on May 9th. Be sure to follow the dress code rules.
Raffle
Our tallies are in and winners have been selected.
The student who sold the most $1000 raffle tickets, Julianna Smith, won an all weekend ride pass for the fair this weekend.
Our 2nd place student for the Golf Cart Raffle, Megan Burton, won an all weekend ride pass for the fair this weekend. Our 1st place winner who sold the most raffle tickets for the golf cart is Tyler Reeves. He won a $350 gift card to Best Buy.

ACT Aspire Testing
Students in 3rd - 8th grade will take the on-line periodic test next week.
6th , 7th & 8th Grade will test on Tuesday, May 9th
4th & 5th Grade will test on Thursday, May 11th
3rd Grade will test on Friday, May 12th
New Spirit Shirt
Order forms for new spirit shirts will go home before this school year ends and will be delivered to students at the beginning of next school year.
***Students may wear the current spirit shirt for the next school year. They will be completely phased out for the 2018-2019 school year.
