1st Day of School

First Day of School for 1st - 8th graders will be August 9th; however, SJS will NOT have buses. After School Care will begin. Please be sure to make the necessary arrangments.

Hi & Supplies


Tuesday, August 8th students in grades 1st - 8th grade can drop off supplies and find their classroom 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.
***New Spirit shirts can be picked up in the gym***

Prek & K Orientation


Pre-K and Kindergarten Parent Orientation will be held Tuesday, August 8th for 6:00 p.m. in the cafeteria. This is for PARENTS ONLY. Hope to see everyone there.

The Countdown Checklist

Attached below is a "checklist" that will help guide you to make sure you have everything covered for the beginning of school. Be sure to open the below document and read it carefully.

Time to Get Ready for School

As you begin to start getting your family ready for school, don't forget to schedule haircuts. Please read the handbook carefully for details about haircuts and remember - "Hair is to be well-groomed and not unusual in style. Hair is to be of the natural color."

Back To School Sock Hop

The Back To School Dance will be held Friday, August 18th in the school gym for students in grades 5th - 8th grade from 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Cost is $10 a person and students are welcomed to bring a guest from other schools as long they adhere to the same rules as our St Joseph students. There will be snacks available for free and pictures available for purchase in packages of $5 and $10. Dress is casual. Remember, girls are not allowed to wear strapless or spaghetti straps and back may not be open.

Parents, please walk your child into the gym when you drop your child off and come to the gym lobby when the night is over!

New Sports Requirement


All students in 5th - 8th grade who play a sport at SJS must have a physical. The physical must be on file before a season begins.

Family Prayer Night

SAVE the DATE:

August 11th at 6:00 p.m. in the gym. Back to School Prayer Night. What a great way to start off the school year! Join us as we pray for our students, families, and teachers as we begin a new school year. Great live music, snacks.
