Fall Fest T-shirt
Students may wear their Fall Fest t-shirts any Friday with school jeans during the months of October and November.
Fair Meeting
Spring Fair Meeting – Tomorrow – 6:00 p.m. in the library – everyone is invited to attend.
Crusader Dads Raffle
Each student received a pack of 10 tickets.
Prizes - Two sets of two Saints tickets for the December 3rd game – Saints vs. Carolina Panthers – Drawing is October 21st
Ticket stubs and money are due Friday! Call the office if you need more tickets.
The class who sells the most tickets will receive a prize of their choice.
Red Ribbon Week Activities

Monday: “United We Stand Against Drugs”
***Wear Red, White, or Blue Socks with School Uniform
Tuesday: “My Future is Bright Drug Free”
****Wear a College Shirt or college colors with school appropriate jeans and shoes.
Wednesday: “Smarties Choose to be Drug Free”
Wear regular school uniform
Thursday: “Our School is Drug Free”
****Wear any SJS t- shirt and school appropriate jeans and shoes
Friday: Fall Fest

Fall Fest Information
Pre-K – 4th Grade
Pre-K through 4th grade levels will attend Fall Fest at various times throughout the day. This will provide students with greater access to the games.
The schedule is as follows:
Pre-K 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Kindergarten 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.
1st & 2nd Grade 11:50 a.m. – 1:05 p.m.
3rd & 4th Grade 1:10 p.m. – 2:20 p.m.
Students will only be allowed to attend at their designated time to ensure maximum play time for all students.
All PreK- 3rd grade students are asked to bring in one dozen of one of the following:
***** homemade treat (ex. brownies, cookies, cupcakes, rice crispy treats, muffins, etc.) - treats need to be individually wrapped.
4th grade students are asked to bring one box of juice pouches
Please send in these items the week of the festival (October 23-27)
The 8th grade students will be hosting the games for the PreK-4th grade students who will be attending the festival.
PreK-4th grade students will be at the festival playing games with prizes, face painting, and will enjoy several inflatables. Students will also receive several refreshments.
5th – 7th Grade
Our 5th, 6th, and 7th grade students will remain on campus and participate in a separate event that will take place on campus. Students do not need to bring anything for this activity.
The schedule is as follows:
5th, 6th, and 7th 12:00noon – 2:15 p.m.
Students in 5th – 7th may wear spirit dress with their SJS spirit shirt or Fall Fest shirt and FREE SHOES.
Students in 5th-7th grades will have pizza, popcorn, drink, sweet treats, and a movie. Students will choose from a selection of movies. They will have a pizza picnic on the front lawn and then move to the “movie theater” (classrooms) of the movie they selected. They will be given popcorn and sweet treats during the movie

Sign up on Mrs. Curtis's bulletin board in the gym.
Tryouts will end at 4:00.
Yearbook
Order Forms for the 2016-2017 (LAST YEAR) yearbooks are going home today. Please fill out the form and return to school with payment. The yearbook is hard-covered and has almost 100 beautiful colored pictures of the memories of SJS for the 2016-2017 school year! The price for the yearbook is $40
