Mardi Gras Sock Hop

Sock Hop

Sponsored by: Beta Club

Theme : MARDI GRAS BALL

The sock hop will be held Friday, January 26th from 7-10. Cost to enter the dance is $10 and students in grades 5th-8th can attend. Students may bring a guest from another school that is also within the 5th-8th grade range. Students who bring a guest are responsible for their guest’s behavior as well as making sure their guest’s dress code falls within the school guidelines. Pictures will be offered in small packages of $5. Drinks and snacks are available for free. Since the theme is “Mardi Gras Ball” the suggested attire is a little dressier than usual; however, same dress code still exists. Shorts are not permitted. Girl’s skirts and/or dresses must be longer than their fingertips when standing straight up. Dresses ad shirts may not have cut outs in the back, come down to low in the chest area and straps must be of appropriate width. If you are unsure if your outfit is acceptable, you may send a picture to Mrs Bankston.

Crusaders of the month!

Both students were recognized at assembly with a certificate and basket of goodies donated by Berrytown Produce. Students are nominated by teachers, staff, or students and then then selected by our Crusader Committee. Way to go Jameson and Gavin!!
