Spiritual Homework
Each week Fr. McDuffie gives the students spiritual homework at the end of mass. We will be including this in our Wednesday newsletter so we can work together on this "homework".
Read Psalm 119 and pray for the conversion of people who have left the church that they may fall in love with God again.
Exam Schedule
Exams begin Friday for 6th – 8th grade.
Friday (3/9) – 2nd & 4th period
Monday (3/12) – 7th & 5th period
Tuesday (3/13) – 1st & 6th period
Wednesday (3/14) – 3rd period
Stations
Stations of the Cross – Fridays in Lent – 1:45 p.m. in Church. Family and friends are welcome to join us.
Please meet us at church.
Please send a note if your child will be checked out after 1:45 p.m. on Fridays. They will stay in the office and not attend Stations.

Pre-K - 2nd Parent Teacher Conferences
PreK-2nd Grade Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held for students in PreK through 2nd Grade on Monday March 12th. Information to sign up was sent home with these students today.
Students in these grades do NOT have school on this day
Spring Pictures
Spring Pictures - Thursday, March 15th
Order forms for Spring Pictures were sent home last week with the students. The order form and payment are due by Wednesday, March 14th.
Only students ordering Spring Pictures are allowed to wear free dress. Please be sure to read the guidelines for "free dress" in the Parent/Student Handbook.
8th grade Cap and Gown
8th Grade Cap and Gown Pictures Thursday, March 15th
8th grade Cap and Gown Picture order forms were sent home last week with the 8th graders. The forms and payments must be turned in the day of pictures.
SJS Dance Team
SJS is starting a Dance Team! Tryouts will be in May for 4th - 7th grade girls. Girls may not be a member of the Cheerleaders AND Dance team.
More information will be sent home soon.

Our word of the week is Moderation.

School Calendar
Calendar Changes for Makeup Days
March 19th - FULL DAY of school for students. Buses will run.
May 24th - FULL DAY of school for students
May 25th - HALF Day dismissal at 11:15 - NO BUSES
May 28th - HALF Day dismissal at 11:15 - NO BUSES
Confetti Eggs
Please send clean eggshells to school for the confetti egg booth.
How to clean eggshells:
1. Make a quarter sized hole at the top of the raw egg.
2. Pour out raw egg and rinse.
3. Place back in carton.
4. Drop off all egg cartons in the gym.
