ALL FORMS DUE
Parent/Student Handbook - Please read the Parent/Student Handbook carefully and return the signed Family Agreement Form ( see link below) by THIS FRIDAY- AUGUST 17th
6th, 7th and 8th graders ONLY - The Internet, Ipad, and Tech Acceptance Use Policy Form ( see link below) is due this Friday, August 17th.
Beginning of the Year Forms and Information
Attached you will find our Asbestos Notice Letter , transportation information, carpool route instructions, carpool map and bus information and other important forms for this school year. All of these forms and any future forms needed for this school year will be added under the Parent tab on our website.
Wednesday, August 22nd
No AFTERNOON Buses - Wednesday, August 22nd. Ponchatoula public schools will have a half day of school. We will have a full day of school, but we will not have buses in the afternoon
ALL STUDENTS
All students MUST have rain ponchos. They will need them for traveling to lunch, enrichment classes and to the office on rainy days.
Home and School Open House
Our Home & School Meeting/Back to school Night is August 22nd. See the schedule below.
5:45 p.m. - 6:20 p.m.- 1st -5th -visit classrooms
6:30 p.m. - Home and School Meeting in the Gym.
7:05 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. - 6th - 8th grade -visit classrooms.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Box tops is running a special promotion. If you purchase any 5 of the products on the attached list, you can get 50 box tops. You have to download the box tops APP, purchase any 5 items from the list at Walmart and then scan your receipt. These are very popular items and there are over 70 items on the list. 50 box tops is $5 dollars.
The deadline is Sept 20th.

New Physicals!
All students in 5th - 8th grade playing sports for SJS or interested in playing sports must have a new physical on file for the 2018-2019 school year.

Each week at mass, the students are given Spiritual Homework. This week's homework is to offer up 9 Hail Mary's for all those who have strayed away from the church.
Celebrating Birthdays!
We will celebrate birthdays for each month of the year. When we celebrate the month of your child's birthday, they may wear free dress. Please check the free dress guidelines carefully.

BCC Help
This year we would like to make a popcorn snack available at our BCC cash-in counter for students to enjoy on the cash-in days. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to pop popcorn for us on assigned cash-in days. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Dunham at adunham@sjscrusaders.org

Attention all Married Couples: you are invinted to attend a special set of 6 "Day" dates that you won't want to miss! Please join us as we take part in a new marriage enrichment series called United in Love, United in Christ! This program explores God's awesome plan and promise for spouses. It provides practical steps in building on what St. John Paull II taught to be the "infalliable" and "indispensable" way to a truly united and faithful love.

Do you want to be a room mom?
Room Mom and Room Mom Helper Volunteer Forms were sent home today with the students. If you would like to volunteer to be your child's Room Mom or Helper, please fill out the form and return it to school no later than Friday, August 24th.
