The program that has gone by the name of “Adopt-a-Child” in the past, is now called UNBOUND and we will use its official name UNBOUND going forward. It’s the same program with a new name. We will still be collecting money monthly to support the same two children - Astrid Mariela from Guatemala and Markus from India. Students may bring any amount of money to school on the collection dates and add it to the baskets put out at morning assembly. Their contributions will be brought forward during the Offertory of the Mass.
The dates to bring UNBOUND contributions to school this year are the following:
September 11th
October 10th
November 7th
December 5th
January 16th
February 6th
March 13th
April 3rd
May 1st
The following information, found at unbound.org, gives some basics about the organization. You can visit their website to learn more.
Unbound is an international nonprofit founded by lay Catholics grounded in the Gospel call to put the needs of the marginalized and vulnerable first.
We inspire confidence and offer opportunity and encouragement to children and families living on the margins of society. We create practical and trustworthy means for people to help others and nurture human connections that uplift us all.
Thanks for your generous giving to the UNBOUND program!
Our word of the week is Courtesy.

The Blue Knights Catholic Club is a nationwide boys' club aimed at teaching the truths of the Catholic faith to boys through Scripture, saints' biographies, games, crafts and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
The club maps out nine virtues for boys ages 5 and up in the first year, and then follows up with four years covering nine catechetical lessons each.
There will be nine meetings between the months of October-May.
