EMERGENCY DRILLS

We will practice all types of emergency drills during the school year. These drills include fire, severe weather, and lockdown. Fire drills are practiced monthly. Severe weather and lockdown drills will be reviewed and practiced a minimum of twice a year. You will be notified when we practice our lockdown drill.

Students WILL have school on October 5th. This will be a make up day for the storm day we missed September 5th. Once again, students do not have a day off in October for Professional Development. We will not have buses on October 5th and October 8th due to public schools being closed.

Grandparents Day at St. Joseph School

SJS Grandparent's Day has been scheduled for Friday, September 28th, beginning at 10:00 in the gym.

One designated person ( with photo I.D.) is to check out the student from the homeroom teacher. They are at this point responsible for the student(s).

No student will be checked out to a person who has not been designated by the parent on the form below.

This form is due to the homeroom teacher of each student by Wednesday, September 26,2018.

10:45 - 12:30 - PICNIC LUNCH, pictures , and Book Fair gift cards

We will have multiple areas for grandparents to picnic with their grandchildren. Feel free to bring "picnic supplies" such as blankets, chairs, basekt/tote, etc. to picnic anywhere on the school grounds. We will also have some tables and chairs set up under a large tent around campus, and the use of the cafeteria if needed for seating.

NEW FAMILY FORMATION CLASS

Embrace Parenthood

This class will be offered on Sunday Mornings from 9:30-10:30 am and facilitated by Paula Jarrell. It consists of 5 sessions. Sessions are: Sept. 30, Oct. 28, Nov. 11, Dec. 2 and Dec. 16. If you are interested in attending this class please call the office to register by Sept. 16.
