4-H Fundraiser

March 18th - 22nd - Students are asked to bring items or monetary donations for the Tangi Humane Society. This will benefit the animal shelter. The class who brings in the most donations will win a cupcake party!

St. Joseph School celebrated the Solemnity of St. Joseph, our patron saint, and foster father of our Lord, Jesus Christ! We started the day with a blessing of our beautiful St. Joseph altar by Deacon Larry. Next, 2nd grade boys helped present items associated with St. Joseph at our school Mass, then students viewed the altar throughout the day and learned about the history, construction, and items of our altar! It was a wonderful day at St. Joseph School!! Thank you to Mrs. Margaret Baglio, Wendy Turner, Heather Dominick, Kathy Ahrend and all who who donated items for our beautiful altar!

Update!

Counseling Update

As we finish up this semester, here’s what has been going on throughout the 3rd quarter in counseling guidance lessons. Here are the topics that your children have been introduced to and are continuing to practice each day. 1st graders have learned more about Emotions, Worries and How to Deal with Worries, and Listening. 2nd graders have learned about Interrupting and Self Control. They have also learned about tattling and how to know when something should be reported. 3rd graders have focused on Compromising and Choices and Consequences. 4th grade has had lessons on Goal Setting, Communication, and Teamwork. 5th graders have learned about Goal Setting, Consequences, and Kindness. 1st- 5th graders have also had lessons on what makes our school special as we celebrated Catholic Schools Week this year. 6th- 8th graders have focused on school expectations as well as learned about Depression and Stress. These topics are all things your child should be familiar with from the 3rd Quarter. As we continue through the school year, you can expect your child to continue to learn more about how they can grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually through classroom guidance lessons.
