UNBOUND COLLECTION THIS WEDNESDAY - DECEMBER 4

For the 2019-2020 school year St. Joseph School will continue its long-standing tradition of supporting and serving those who need a hand-up. One way we do this is through the UNBOUND program. Each month students are asked to bring a donation to school on the specified collection date. Their contributions will be brought forward during the Offertory of the Mass and then forwarded to Unbound. The money that is collected goes to the care and support of the two children that we have chosen to help-Markus, age 14, from India and our new friend, Trey, age 3, from Costa Rica.

The following quote is from the Unbound website. You can learn more about the history of the organization, its goals and impact by going to unbound.org.

Unbound is an international nonprofit founded by lay Catholics grounded in the Gospel call to put the needs of the marginalized and vulnerable first.

We inspire confidence and offer opportunity and encouragement to children and families living on the margins of society. We create practical and trustworthy means for people to help others and nurture human connections that uplift us all.

Have a Wonderful Thanksgiving Break!

TITHING REMINDER!

If the parent is a registered, financially supporting member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish, a tuition benefit is available to that parent. To qualify for tuition as a financially supporting parishioner, a family’s weekly contribution to St. Joseph Church should be a minimum of $8.00/week ($416 annually). These contributions are to be made in full by December 31, 2019. Contributions made after December 31, 2019 will not count toward tithing for 2019 and tuition rates will not be adjusted for the next school year (2019-2020). Regular use of the Sunday envelope is necessary as a sign of financial support of the Church.
