Gospel Reflection Question
Lk 3:15-16, 21-22: Although Jesus did not need to be baptized, in today’s Gospel the people watch as John the Baptist baptizes Jesus. Jesus did this to be one with God’s people. It was also a way to show that he was about to begin his special work. During the baptism God calls Jesus his “beloved son.”
How do you feel when you hear God say to you, “You are my beloved son/daughter”?
