On Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 2:00 pm, there will be registration and initial training for new Altar Servers. Those interested in becoming Altar Servers must be enrolled in at least the 4th grade this fall (born prior to September 30, 2012) and practicing their Catholic faith (Baptized and have received the Sacrament of First Communion). All young Catholics aged from 4th grade through college are welcome. Registration will take place in the narthex of church then training will take place in the Nave. We ask that at least one parent accompany their child; there are registration forms to be completed and also information necessary for parents throughout this initial training. Subsequent training sessions will be coordinated prior to end of this session.

Gospel Reflection Question
Lk 1:1-4; 4:14-21: In today’s first reading, Ezra read to the people from the Bible. In the Gospel Jesus reads from the Bible — the book of the prophet Isaiah — explaining to the people that the words are about him: he is the Anointed One sent by God.
What “glad tidings” do you bring to people?
