Red Ribbon Week - October 21 - 25

Themes for each day:

Monday- “I’m a Jeanius- I’m Drug Free” - school jeans with red shirt- any tennis shoes

Tuesday - “Be a Hero stay drug free”- super hero day- school jeans and super hero or sjs shirt - any tennis shoes

Wednesday- “Don’t Let Drugs Sneak up on You” - uniform and any tennis shoes for Mass Day

Thursday- “Saddle Up Against Drugs”- Western Day - Wear a western shirt or accessories with school jeans and any tennis shoes NO BOOTS

Friday-“Team Up Against Drugs”- favorite sports team shirt with school jeans- any tennis shoes

Our word of the week is Wisdom.

“ For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.” Proverbs 2:6

SJS Families - Talent Show Slips are due November 6th

We are excited to announce that BETA Club will be hosting a Talent Showcase! We are inviting
3rd through 8th grade SJS students to to participate in this event. We want you to get your
acts together and show us your best talents! What will it be? Singing?! Dancing?! Magic?!
Musical instruments?! Entertaining skits?! Poetry?! Show us your talents!

Guidelines and expectations for the talent show..
Two or three acts will be selected per grade. (decided by a selection committee)
Act lengths should be no longer than 3 minutes.
Props/background with minimal set-up allowed. (helps with general flow of final show)
Music with no inappropriate language or content. (music/lyrics are screened at tryouts)
Group acts limited to eight students. (participants don't need to be in the same grade)
Lip syncing and gymnastics/tumbling is not allowed.
Costumes/clothes need to be worn at tryouts. (appropriate/modest choices only)
We plan to hold tryouts November 11th and 12th. So, if you are interested, please get your
music, costumes, props, and plans in place. Complete the form below and further details about
the tryout day/time/specifics will be coming soon.
We are very excited to see all the wonderful talent that our SJS students have to share!

Balcony Tickets start @ $30 each (Balcony seats are in the upper level of the arena)

Lower End Tickets start @ $60 each (Lower seats are on the 1st level of the arena)

Our game is during the holiday break. Our SJS basketball teams will get to participate in the court of dreams. We have group seating on hold in the balcony section & the lower end section. Choose your seats when you order. Tickets are first come first served.
