ATTENTION VETERANS!
ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC SCHOOL WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL VETERANS DAY CEREMONY HONORING OUR FAMILY MEMBERS THAT HAVE SERVED OR WHO ARE CURRENTLY SERVING IN THE ARMED FORCES.

Calling All 3rd- 8th Grade Students!
DO YOU HAVE A TALENT YOU WOULD LIKE TO SHARE WITH US? PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM AND JOIN US FOR TRYOUTS FOR THE UPCOMING TALENT SHOWCASE! WE HAVE EXTENDED THE DEADLINE TO FRIDAY, NOVEMBE 8TH!
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOUR BEST TALENTS.
We are excited to announce that BETA Club will be hosting a Talent Showcase! We are inviting
3rd through 8th grade SJS students to to participate in this event. We want you to get your
acts together and show us your best talents! What will it be? Singing?! Dancing?! Magic?!
Musical instruments?! Entertaining skits?! Poetry?! Show us your talents!
Guidelines and expectations for the talent show..
Two or three acts will be selected per grade. (decided by a selection committee)
Act lengths should be no longer than 3 minutes.
Props/background with minimal set-up allowed. (helps with general flow of final show)
Music with no inappropriate language or content. (music/lyrics are screened at tryouts)
Group acts limited to eight students. (participants don't need to be in the same grade)
Lip syncing and gymnastics/tumbling is not allowed.
Costumes/clothes need to be worn at tryouts. (appropriate/modest choices only)
We plan to hold tryouts November 11th and 12th. So, if you are interested, please get your
music, costumes, props, and plans in place. Complete the form below and further details about
the tryout day/time/specifics will be coming soon.
We are very excited to see all the wonderful talent that our SJS students have to share!

Student Council would like to invite you to participate in
Kindness Week (November 11-15, 2024 )
***Either donate 1 canned good or $1 each day to participate- all donations and money will go to our local food pantry
Please join us this week as we remember: “Kindness Begins with Me"
MONDAY (11/11): “Light Up with Kindness”
Wear a NEON or BRIGHT shirt with school? jeans and any tennis shoes.
TUESDAY (11/12): “Wave Away the Bullies” Wear any Hawaiian shirt with school
jeans and any tennis shoes.
WEDNESDAY (11/13): “Crazy for Kindness” Wear your uniform and any tennis shoes
with any crazy hat.
THURSDAY (11/14): “Dream of Kindness” Wear PAJAMA pants and any SJS t-shirt
with any tennis shoes.
FRIDAY (11/15): “Color Our World with Kindness” Wear your grade assigned shirt color
with school jeans and any tennis shoes.? PreK-Blue
